Anyone know the frequneices for Ohio Medflight?

I was at Robinson memorial hospital today in ravenna ohio and a ohio medflight helicopter landed their. i was wondering what their frequencies are. :?:

And does anyone know any frequencies for Robinson memorial hospital security? i keep seeing the security car drive by me. and he has attenas on his car and it says robinson memoiral hospital police. i know has to be some frequencies for them. :?

The most common medflight to Robinson is Metro (blue and yellow copters) at 155.39mhz. Never heard of Ohio Medflight, but it might be from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Might check RR database for Toledo (Lucas County, Ohio).

MedFlight (green and white helicopters) uses the AEP system and there have been reports of them testing on MARCS. http://www.medflight.com/

The helicopters out of Toledo are Lifeflight (blue and white) and they use various frequencies and systems. They are reported to have MARCS radios on order. http://www.lifeflight.cc/

You might want to check that frequency. It's not valid. It should either be 155.385 or 155.400 MHz if it's close to that, or there is a digit off somewhere (like it's 155.340 or something else). Even a new SNFM channel would be 155.3925 MHz.

Try 123.025, 123.050, and 123.075 MHz. The last two are specifically for heliports. The first is for helicopters air-to-air comms.

They would use the normal frequencies that airplanes use when talking to Cleveland Approach. If they are on a mission they will id as "Lifeguard" to get expedited by controllers.

Medflight

Hopkins tower is 120.9 and you do hear the Metro coptors talking to them when they cut through the airport airspace. They need permission to go through the airspace and are sometimes given a squawk number for radar ID.
