Depending on band conditions and your location, try 80m at night, 40m during the day and night, 20 and 15m during the day. I'll admit it'll take a lot of listening time but give it a try, plus what the previous posters have said.
Back in the day hams were the first to report disasters like this but nowadays not so much. Good luck.
