Anyone listening to ARISSAT-1? What about times? ...

I see that this page appears to recognize my physical location (roughly of course), and plots expected passes for me to attempt to listen to the satellite.

But are the times of day also converted to my local time? Or are they GMT? Oh, and anyone recall the 2m frequency to listen on?

Would love to get outside with my kids to hear the satellite.

At the present time the old Russian suit battery they used is dead and the satellite only transmits during the daylight portion of its orbit. The frequency you'll want to listen to is 145.950 plus or minus a slight Doppler shift (higher on the ascending node, lower on the descending node).

There are several ways you can predict when the satellite(s) will be overhead and one I like is called Orbitron Satellite Tracking System: Orbitron by Sebastian Stoff / Satellite tracking easiest ever!. This software gives you a map which displays the position of selected satellites and predictions of their orbital tracks. It also contains information about the frequencies used by them. It's freeware too.
