Anyone monitoring Tollway ISP D-15?

Just curious what tower site people are listening to ISP D-15 on and if anyone is around me that is picking them up around the LaSalle County area or close to the county.

You'll hear D15 and the ISTHA maintenance people on towers from Whiteside County up to Winnebago County and pretty much every tower in between there and Chicago

Depending on conditions, sometimes the units on I-88 will affiliate with T131 in LaSalle and T134 in Ottawa. You'll also catch D15 units affiliate on those towers as they travel to and from Springfield.

Pretty lively listening on the IDOT talkgroups since they started battling our first storm of the season !

best one i get them on is the cook county NWCD tower from Elgin.

Kane County and Dekalb County Starcom21 SITES should have them too. I listen to them on those when out that way. When coming north on rt39 earlier this summer in July, I was hearing D-15 on the LEE county tower 105 Starcom21 SITE as I was several miles south of rt 88. That's still at stretch trying to get 800mhz or 700mhz frequencies from where you are. Maybe a high tower with a high gain 700/800mhz Yagi would get those sites. OR, just listen to the feeds on broadcastify ;0)

We have our antenna 65ft up on the tower and it picks up 700-800 pretty well. I have a Uniden 996p2 monitoring all the sites because I was new to starcom when I first programmed the scanner haha. So I want to cut down on sites so it will scan better. I do broadcast a feed for Broadcastify locally for ISP districts 17,5,1,2 off the Ottawa site and recent 6 and 8 seemed to be pretty steady on the Ottawa site now. But 15 not so much.

I use here in the Joliet area T113, 102 and 126, all D-15 traffic....T102 has almost all the D-1 IDOT activity....Are TG's2002 and 2007 help trucks yet they run license plates....How about TG's 9098, and 9099 are they TW police like D2 and D5 cars....TY

Picking up Morris site a lot anything good on that Tower?

I monitor T125 in Morris/Grundy, its a good tower because calls from different TG's are limited meaning its not as busy as the Chicago area tower mess...I like listening to rural ILL there is a lot of action from Pontiac etc...I did find D-5 from 9pm till 6 am are now dispatched from D-6=Pontiac then D-15=CGO very interesting....Sometimes calls on D-5=Joliet that come thru T113=Will Co do not come thru T125=Morris, must be location of mobiles...This Starcom is a trickey situation to monitor....Also you hear Liv-Com TG's 57xx on T125 and IDot KankakeeYard and Morris/Yorkville yard now in the winter....

HELP trucks only run plates before leaving the truck to make sure the vehicle is not stolen or the driver is wanted.If it does come back as 10-99 The HELP drivers are instructed to leave and the ISP is alerted to the location. No personal info is given to the HELP drivers.

ISP units assigned to District 15 (Tollways) North and South dispatch respectively. Dispatch is located at the tollway HQ in Downer's Grove. HELP trucks are similar to IDOT ETP trucks.

D15 Tollway Dispatch is in Oakbrook, not Downers grove, unless I'm mistaken ?
