Anyone live in Wayne county michigan that can program police scanners, I have a whistler 1065 .I live downriver..

Do you have the EZScan software for that radio? Do you need to program it for the Downriver P25 trunked system or something else?

ARC500 basic or PSREdit500 - Configuration Editor for the PSR-500, PSR-600, PRO-106, and PRO-197 Scanners - Author from Oakland County MI by the way and I also use it.

Both offer 30 day free trial.

Just trying to get Wayne county, multiple towers(simulcast) will be tough at best to get with whistlers though. This is where the Uniden models work best, especially the SDS models that are designed for simulcast. Unless you live nearby a tower, maybe 2 miles at most away from a tower, I wouldn't expect the 1065 to do well. I would expect lots of garbled audio, missed transmissions, likely little-no radio calls.
Here’s a forum post that bears out what I say about the Whistler brands. In the second post – (By me BTW) there is a video of someone in Saginaw that also has a 4 tower simulcast that had the latest, greatest and highest cost whistler and how it essentially does not work! His solution is a G4 fire pager, same one that is used for the city-county fire personnel that cost $700, but the video was made prior to the Uniden SDS line release that work flawlessly in these situations.

Disregard message 7 there as they didn’t pursue that product.

WS1040/WS1065 vs Simulcast 800

Here it is, frequencies at the top Wayne at the bottom.
