I saw that HRO in Burbank is permanently closed. Is there anyone in the LA area that sells handheld antennas for scanners? I'd rather see the antenna rather than buy on the Internet, if possible. Thanks, Bob.

If you are careful about min. purchases, free shipping, free return shipping, and watch for gross overpricing, Amazon is a possibility. You can buy one and try it, and then return it if you don't like it.* I signed up for their Prime free trial several years ago to make something worth buying and trying, and then forgot to cancel the free trial in time (which is what they like). They refunded my auto payment when I requested such, probably because I caught it very soon after the trial expired.

OK. Thanks. I guess the Internet is the only way to go. Bob.

Is Anaheim too far away? That is their LA area store.
