anyone tell me how old is a 2051

hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how old is the 2051 radioshack scanner ,also does it trunk on all uhf bands and asll vhf bands ,regards satob1 nsw australia

hi there ive got a 94 and a 95 i waiting on a 296 bearcat but whats the best out of the 2055 and 2065 etc i need 1 that trunks on uhf and vhf,regards dave nsw aus

It was Radio Shack's enhanced version of Uniden's BCT8. Radio Shack replaced it with the new PRO-433.

I have a 2051, and this model does NOT trunk 900 MHz systems. GO figure, but it will trunk everything else analog.

I fixed the Wiki entry to indicate that it will not trunk 900 MHz.
