anyone use a AR!6

i have a buddy that is getting out of the radio
hobbie and he is thinking about selling his AR16
to me for 20 dollors
so i was thinking about getting it to be use at mil air shows
it wil work on on mil air . i thought heck 20.00 bucks'
that is the cost of dinner out somewhere
has anyone used one before i have a ICOM R2 and R5
how is the AR16 work

For $20 thats a heck of a smokin deal. I hope it works Almost like a Icom IC-R2 or Yaesu VR-500 The AOR AR16 has continuous coverage from 500KHz -1300MHz with programmable modes & step sizes.

i was just going to useing it for air shows
