anyone use PrimeCell ScanMax 2250mAh battery?

i just ordered 2 of these:

anyone have any experience charging them?

i guesstimate 2 days direct-charge or 4 trickle-charging.

it will be interesting to see how long the scanner will run with a 2250mAh battery pack!

(oh yes, the battery pack is a bit bulky - took some pressure to get the 296's cover plate in place, and it still bulges with those 3 AA's in there!)

PrimeCell ScanMax 2250 mAh battery pack

I an using this pack in my 250D.
12 hours charging = about 6 hours run time
24 hours charging = about 9 hours run time

This is scanning a mixed mode 800MHz TRS full time along with a small number of conventional channels.
This is with the battery save option on.

that sounds like an improvement over the 4 hours with digicard on that i get using the Lee Electronics 1600mAh battery...

that damned digital card just burns through the battery pack - and would probably burn through buckets of alkaline AA's, too!

Wish Uniden could get the digital card not to be a power hog.
I thought I had messed up the new battery after the short run time.
But after reading some posts on the 250D, I saw that the card was just a pig for power. But at least I can now hear the digital TRS's and other digital activity in my other area.
