Anyone using a BC23A Powered Speaker with HP-1.......

...............and getting good results?? Are you using the line out jack or the headphone jack? This will be used in a noisy environment & I'll need plenty of volume.

I don't have the HP model scanner. I have used this type of speaker with several other Uniden scanners with excellent results. If there is a line out jack, that's my first choice, but have used the headphone jack on portables not having a line out jack.

I use the BC23A speaker with my BCD436HP and it works great. I plug it into the headphone jack. Loud for a small lightweight speaker.
