I both an Anytone AT-578UVIII Plus and a new Anytone AT878UVII Plus.
I have a Radio ID from RadioID.Net for the 578.
Do I need a separate Radio ID from RadioID.Net for the 878?

Thanks,

You have a radio ID for you (and your callsign). If you're concerned about IDing each radio, you could use a separate ESSID for each radio. Personally I don't think it's necessary and use my radio ID on both radios, but I hardly ever use them at the same time.

I use the same ID on all my DMR radios, and there are a few. The DMR ID is connected to your callsign so no need for more than one.

Going forward I think the now will only issue one DMR ID for each callsign.

In the past hams could get a ID for every radiio they owned. With popularity of DMR they will only issue one, to make sure they to make sure they don't deplete the remaining IDs.
