AOR 8200 Channel Bank Expansion

Hi all,

I have a friend who is interested in getting the AOR 8200 mkIII and would like to know how many channels can you expand into one bank via software or expansion card?

Banks are labeled A, a, B, b, C, c, D, d, E, e and so on. You have 100 slots available for each bank. The allocation must stay withing the same group A/a B/b C/c ect. You could have 50 in A and 50 in a or 10 in A and 90 in a. You can not move slots from A to B.

With a slot card you can save 4000 chanels in groups of 1000. Kinda like GRE's V folders. It works OK but is a little hard to move around in.

As far as memory management, the BCD396T is the Bomb! There is no limit to the combinations you can set up.
