Hello, does anybody here have an AOR AR-1000 scanner? I got one that was faulty as a gift from a friend that found it on a garage sale. When I opened it up, I saw that the boards are interconnected with about ten microconnectors, and most of them are plugged out. I presume the previous owner wanted to do the mod to include 80 and 40m amateur bands, but didn't photo the connections so he didn't know how to put them back. I would be really really grateful if anybody has this scanner and would be willing to open it up (you just need to remove four screws on the back) and take a photo so I can properly connect these buggers.

Let me first preface this response with, "when it comes to radios, I'm a buffoon." When I attempted to re-align the keyboard since it returned that way from repair, I took the screws off & fried the entire radio. I don't know what I did, but it is now in the land fill. I hope you have better luck.
