AOR AR-2500 how to scan more than one bank

Maybe I am dense but I have read and re-read the manual and I cannot figure out how to scan more than one memory bank at a time. For instance I programmed memories in banks 1, 2 and 3 but when I press scan it only scans the bank I last selected with sel. bank. On powerup pressing scan scans only bank 1. If I select say bank 3 it then only scans bank 3. How do I get it to scan all three banks.

Well someone told me in another forum it seems you have to LINK the banks together so have them all scan. That sucks but oh well.
