AOR AR2001/ Regency MX5000 spare part...

Hi.

I have an AOR as above with a scratchy volume/ squelch dial. Tried to find a spare online without success. Anyone sitting on an old radio I could buy for parts, or maybe know the specs of that potentiometer for me to find it elsewhere?

Have you tried cleaning it with any of the control cleaners? Especially those made for this purpose by Caig.
They often work wonders on old scratchy controls.

Make sure whatever you use, make sure it is a control/potentiometer cleaner, not just an automotive contact cleaner. (Stay away from anything like WD-40.)
