Been trying research reviews on this broadband antenna, surely someone out there has it.
Appears to be a 1/4 wave design vs,1/2 wave based on element size, ect.
Very pricey too.....hope its not a disappointment like the Austin Ferret seems to have been for many.
Any comments from the users?

You didn't say anything about what freq ranges you were going to monitor, and the mounting arrangement (outside on a roof or tower, in an attic, etc.) so it's hard to say anything. Why not consider an Icom or Diamond discone, or one of the DPD Production designs?

And remember, don't skimp on the coax! 73 Mike

Almost all of the DPD Pfroduction antennas are of high quality and excellent electrical performance. I can hear stuff I never dreamed of acquiring with the DPD Antennas...and I have never seen one advertised on eBay as people don't get rid of them. The coax I use is LMR 400 from times microwave which is also outstanding with extremely low loss. Why buy a top end radio and put a junk antenna and junk coax on it. The radio is only as good as the RF distribution system and height is everything, not preamps.
