So I am thinking about getting a AR5700D if I was to get one off

These sets what can expect to hear in the 2 GHz and 2 GHz range.

I already have the DV1 .

I own an AR5700D but haven't explored that part of the spectrum.

Best to experiment and scan it. Did that with my R8600. Didn’t hear anything. I still check once in awhile just to check.

I also observed the range up to 2 GHz with the ICOM IC-r 8500, but unfortunately I didn't receive anything useful.
I think the normal listener can no longer really hear anything after the 23cm amateur radio band.
