Apache military Helicopters

We have 5 military helicopters at our local airport and have been flying over. Where would one search for these in the Military air band?

In some areas Army & NG like to use 242.400 and 247.400 for air-to-air. YMMV on those.

That's supposed to be search & rescue not air-to-air.

You might find them coordinating with other helicopters on a local VHF air to air frequency.

I saw your airport tower controlled? Monitor the approach, departure and tower frequencies. They would have to coordinate with the local tower. If not tower controlled monitor the local Unicom frequency.

I've also found them on VHF-low in Texas.

30-88MHz FM in 25kHz steps, 118-137MHz AM in 25kHz steps, 138-144 & 148-150.8MHz FM in 25kHz steps, 225-400MHz AM in 25kHz steps. They may have HF UHF SATCOM capability, and it's always possible that in some of the spectrum, they're using encryption or anti-jam (look up ECCM & SINCGARS).

Hi I agree with that, but in the Midwest some times they have a, well that one works attitude, when it comes to some frequencies.
