Apco-25 dig or standard?

Is the Austin area digital Apco 25 or 25 standard Mot. type 2 smartnet and smartzone . would I need dig or not? Just do not want to waste more money on something does not work . Thanks

It is a Apco Project 25 Standard digital system. You would need a digital scanner in order to receive the system.

Thank you !! I think my head is going to explode trying to catch up to what is new and going on now . It has been 10years since I had a scanner . Thanks again

A lot of things have changed. You no longer program a scanner like in the old days when all you had to do was punch a 123.456 type entry. They are now difficult to learn, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy to remember. Even for an "old man" like me

Same age and I am not sure I have the patience to start from scratch and learn all this from the ground up.
