apco-25 frequency help

hello i have the psr-500 iwant to put in 2 frequencys for apco-25 they are 868-1375& 867-2125. one is for fire the other for police. i entered them this way. is this correct. first hit program , then new ,then tgrp, put in the scan list i wanted them into say 5, then new for tsys, for type i put p25 auto is this right, put in the 2 frequencys,then scrolling down to multi-site do i keep this off,t-tables what do i do here, then the rest i believe i know. any help on this thank you in advance.

Hi Frank,

You would only do that if you were programming in an APCO-25 trunked system. In your case, those are two conventional frequencies that happen to be P25.

So you would do something such as this:
PGM --> NEW --> CONV
- enter in the scanlist you want it in
- enter in the frequency
- give it an alpha tag
- Set Sq Mode to P25

Save the CONV object.

That should be it.
