apco p-25 audio quality

Forgive me if this has asked,
I do not own any of the Unidens that decode P-25 systems. Mainly because I read about all the problems people have with these radios( constant adjustments/too loud or too soft,..... ect). I own both the 96/2096 and the audio for digital/decode sound is excellent and at the same volume as analog.
So my question is,
Has Uniden addressed this issue in this new radio?
I also have a BC-780XLT that I really enjoy, so it isnt that I don't like Uniden. Just wish they get the digital audio issues resolved before releasing another P-25 radio.

What new radio are you referring to?

The BCD396T is their only announced radio that will do digital, so assuming that's the one in question - yes they say AGC will be incorporated.

IT DAMNED WELL BETTER BE.....OR THE 396 WILL BE THE SAME AS THE 296 ...THE 296 IS THE WORSE SCANNER EVER, EVER MADE IN THE US FOR DIGITAL!!! IM GONNA SELL MINE FOR 350.00 WITH MY FINGERS REALLY CROSSED.........

I owned both the Pro96 and BC796 and I think that the sound quality of both is good and equal
