Approximate delay time.

I’m listening to both broadcastify and my live scanner. Is there an approximate delay time between calls on the app and the live calls I hear on my scanner listening to the same system?

There is a delay that is inherent based on uploading the audio to the internet and streaming it out. Its not set by radio reference. Usually anywhere for 30-90 seconds depending on load on servers.

Thanks. Which means listening to a scanner app does not provide live coms. So if you’re up to no good, then a scanner app would be of no help.

LOL. If you're up to no good, I wouldn't expect a scanner to keep you "safe" either. All that happens or all there is to know is not transmitted.

Broadcastify Calls usually uploads in under 5 seconds for my Node (#999). But traditional feds can be much much longer as mentioned above.
