April OKC radio meeting

Hey everyone,
I finally got my Amateur Radio License. But thats another story. I heard recently that the scanner meetings kinda died off, which makes me sort of depressed.

I'm hoping we can meet this month...(April) and then after this next meeting I will propose an idea on here, and we can even all talk about the idea at our april scanner meet. Who's in for this month.

Where and when can we meet this next week?

I keep getting tied up with work or being so tired I go home and straight to bed... I'll try to do better next time!

Just about any place is fine - I'm not fond of Chinese though (except one tiny hole-in-the-wall a friend showed me).

How about a steak? I'm partial to Santa Fe right now... We've been going to the one on I-240 from work, looks like they also have 29th & Air Depot in MWC, and 1800 S Meridian on the west side.

I would avoid the one at 29th and Air Depot at all costs. My last 3 meals have been free because of the absolutely horrible food and service.

Well, I'd hoped some others might show up over the weekend. Anyway, so far there's three of us.

How about tomorrow (Tuesday) night, at the Santa Fe Steakhouse on I-240? Make the time 7:00?

Seeing as no one has responded to say they'd go, Wednesday would be fine with me too.

Rockhound can't make Thursday, and I can't make Friday so looks like Wednesday would be it!

Dunno if anyone will see this quickly... But I don't plan to drive cross-town unless I know someone will be there! I'm not much on dining in a restaurant alone...
