APRS and Garmin

Guys & Gals,

I have a TinyTrak4 with an Argent Data Cable to a Garmin Nuvi 780. The only problem is my Garmin says "Accessory connected to the wrong port". Power is all ok, thru my house.

On top of that my TinyTrak4 doesn't want to respond to anything from the TT4TrackerConfig that I downloaded from BYONICS.

Any help/ideas/suggestions?

If you are talking about the GTRANS cable from Argent Data, I see in Argent's store that the only supported Garmin nüvi is the 300 series. The nüvi 780 is not listed.

Have you contacted Scott at Argent Data to see if the 780 is supported or if he has a solution to your problem?

As for the TT4 problem, I think I would have purchased an Argent Data Tracker2 instead. I have two T2-135s and have been very happy with their performance and the support.

I read that any Nuvi with Fleet Management Capabilities could work, hence I figured it would. I'll get ahold of Scott and see if he has any more info.
