If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

So I recently installed the Bluetooth board to my radio, the Bluetooth option is enabled in the flashcode. The issue I am having, i don’t see the search devices / Visibility option on the radios Bluetooth Menu. I tried searching for any settings on CPS R30 and no luck. Please help thanks.

There are a number of items missing from the BT Options menu including the PAN Network Base IP Address.
This is common with radios that have been hit with the D at some point in their lives or is missing QA00583 Bluetooth Operation.

Is that an APX7000L? What firmware is in the radio? Usually under the Bluetooth settings tab there is a Bluetooth Pairing type option that you need to select, LF MPP & Standard but I don’t see that option in your software.

Does your radio have the BT antenna on the back of the speaker grill??
Early 7000s didn't have the antenna if it was ordered without BT.
This was the case on my 7000.

The APX7000L never came in a UHF split, they were only VHF/7-800

Idk if this needs to be connected to anything can one or you verify if you have the 7000 with the Bluetooth feature. And see if this goes connected to anything? Thanks.

On the right is what the BT board looks like when properly installed. It needs to be fully seated so that it clicks into the big white connector on the VOCON (hidden underneath that green cover on the radio to the left). Nothing gets connected to the top of the BT board, the antenna is built into the speaker module, that's what those two contacts on the BT board are for.

Upon further inspection, someone who didn't know what they were doing played with Depot CPS and added QA03344 LTE Operation, which is not a valid option for a regular APX 7000. That's why your BT options look funky, and probably why the BT board isn't functioning properly. 🤦‍♂️
