Nobody knows for certain. AOR in their usual head in the sand mentality refused to acknowledge the drifting fault even when they were shown empirical data. The AR-DV10 was a commercial failure for many reasons and a lot of it had to do with bad engineering.

AOR's new products are now so hopelessly overpriced and stuck in the past. I would just avoid them completely. I still like their classic older gear like the AR-5000, AR-8600 Mk2 and AR-8200 Mk3/D. Those units still work well.

I ordered one from Moonraker in the UK. They don't seem to be available from anyone in the USA, outside of having them drop shipped directly from Japan.

Anyway, I got the latest version, and I have not noted any drifting.

Hi, I see that Moonraker UK is a reliable source to buy from, According to the comments!
I am looking to buy an AOR AR-DV10, but it must be ready with the ability to hear, see encryption numbers, decrypt 100% NXDN digital transmissions.
I await your comment, if Moonraker UK sells that model of AOR AR DV-10, with that feature, is it for shipping to the United States of America?

Thanks,,,

See encryption numbers? Not sure what you mean by that. But I don't think it displays any encryption information.

The DV10 will NOT decode NXDN 9600 narrow; it will only decode NXDN 4800 very narrow. This may or may not be an issue for you, depending on what you want to monitor.

AFAIK, Moonraker only sells the one model of the DV10. Remember, this is the European version, and mine came with a European plug on the A/C power adapter. I purchased a cheap Euro to American adapter on Amazon, works fine.

Yes, that is, to display the Kenwood NXDN encryption number and yes, it is for the very narrow NXDN 4800 format, in the recent past, I have had that AOR model, with that capacity, it shows the RAN and encryption number among the 32,767 different codes and of course the operating frequency in VHF or UHF, as the case may be..
What I see in Moonraker is that the DV10 Receiver is available, with shipping to the USA and cheap, it is only necessary to be sure that they sell that specific model with that capacity

The charger connector, may be easy to get to use it in the USA, I think without problems

Thanks for your comments

Moonraker was the cheapest dealer I could find. A couple of US dealers will have it drop shipped directly to you from Japan, but they want $1300 plus for it.

Okay, my friend, I'll see soon, I'll buy an AOR Scanner from my friends at Moonraker, and yes, it's cheaper with them, even with shipping to the USA. Thanks for your comments, good day.
