AR25 digital module for AR5000

What is the AR25 digital module? Does it decode APCO 25 standard like the unidens? If
so where can you find one. I read a reference to this module in the " are they really that
good" topic.

I am guessing you mean the ARD25 Digital to Analog Conversion Unit, easily found on the AOR site.

Works real well on a strong signal. What is nice is the unit is called a Mutlimode digital receiver. There are thoses that have gotten close to decoding other modes with it.
It is flash-able. It also has the data stream output through rs232. Its not a compentitor of the P25 scanners.

You're right, it's no competition at all. The ARD25 out performs them by far.
