I have an RS Pro95 as my current main scanner. I decided to get my old AOR AR8000 repaired. The loose BNC connector problem had eventually disconnected the antenna connector from the circuit board making this useless on any but a couple of the very strongest nearby TX that were received with/without an antenna.
Went through AOR U.S.A. in Torrance Calif.
Very pleased with the service and turnaround time. The price was within what I think most factory repair facilities charge for electronic repair. (Parts $8.00; Labor $65.00; S&H $10.00 = Total of $83.00)
