Does anyone know any of radio codes are that the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Dept uses? I am also interested in finding out what the unit designators (ex 1b21) they use mean. I also know the majority of all of the codes that are used in Douglas County if anyone needs them.

Steve-
The first number indicates the municipality (1=City of Centennial, for which ACSO has the law enforcement contract and 2=Unincorporated Arapahoe County)
The letter indicates the shift (Adam=Day shift, Baker=Swing, Charlie=Night)
The second number indicates the patrol district (1 to 8, with 1 being farthest west and 8 being farthest east)
The last number indicates the car number (1-4, Lt watch commander is 10, Sgts are 20 and 30, and x5 is an acting supervisor)

Enjoy!

Arapahoe County Repeaters

I hear Arapahoe County on Littleton, Greenwood Village, Glendale and Smoky Hill repeaters. I've been using Greenwood Village to listen. Smoky Hill picks up more other stuff, such as state patrol.

I don't think I've heard them on any other repeaters. Maybe a few times on Lookout or Riley, but mainly just the 4 I've listed.

Hello,
Arapahoe County and Douglas County both have been updated in the DB, if you guys come across things please submit them. We are working our tails off putting things in and would love to keep going. Please submit the information so we can get it in the DB because we are not always able to get the information out of the fourms.

Does anybody know what the "Tom" and "Paul" cars are for Arapahoe County? I get the impression that "Tom" cars are Traffic, but have no idead about "Paul" cars.

I know that the school resource officers are Paul cars. I know that arapahoe county codes are similar to douglas county, so I am assuming that Paul could also be an off-duty patrol officer, and sam is an off duty supervisor. Also, does anyone know what an impact car is?

Impact are special patrol units often grant funded and often working overtime to focus on a specific area(s) of trouble.

Paul units are Training/School resource/Crime prevention unit. When deputies are working off-duty jobs they use the radio as Star Numbers, ex. Star 8668...the number being their personnel number, 68th person to be hired in 86. I used to be with Arapahoe County so im not too sure if things have changed but here's some codes they are not usually listed

HBD-handled by Deputy

BR1-GOA
BR2
BR3
BR4 Alarm Disposition Code...Henry/human Union/Unknown
BR5 Assist to CSP or other agency

These are Bullentin report codes, lol, I can only remember three..sorry

Troop,

Thanks for the note about that Star cars. A couple of times I've heard them making traffic stops, and I wondered what they were.
