I am having a B*TCH of a time with trying to make this work. Using a windows XP laptop, and clicking "Rs232 communication and scanner setup," then clicking on "autodetect," getting message that "scanner is not detected." Further, on trying to bypass this & going to "Read data from scanner," getting the message "Another device/software is using the comport or the selected comport is not available in "you" system. Close the other software or select the right comport in communication setup."
There is no other device/software in the com port as far as I know. HELLLPPPP!
