I am new to using this program with my my new BCD396T. Hopefully someone will answer a question.

When it comes to programming the OPP, especially using the correct System Type in ARC396, which is better or should be used.

1. Selecting the APCO-25 system which a base configuration cannot be set?

or

2. Selecting Motorola Type 2 VHF in which a base configuration could be set?

also

which System type should I use to set up the MOH?

thanks

use the V 2 method,if setting up manually installed freq.'s,check out Mike's sticky above for how to do that,if using ARC396 you don't need to set anything,it will let you select the MOH freq's that you choose,by tower, for your area,MOH is analog using the same fleetnet program, while your OPP and MTO are digital.

Like mentioned above, see the Sticky on programming for Fleetnet.

If you really can't figure it out,I can send you a .mem file from ARC396 that you can use.You will just need to enter the correct frequencies for the tower you want to receive,or tell me which tower is closest to you and i can set it up.
