Well, father time is tapping me on the shoulder again. Doing my quarterly frequency update on my psr-600 I had to accept that even glasses weren't solving the problem anymore. After 8 full decades of eyeball use the Arc 500 pro default set up is becoming too small to see. I think I've clicked all the tabs available and done online searches to no avail. Does anyone know if and how to increase the font size of data shown in (for instance) the scan lists preview?

You could try the Windows built in magnifier....

Butel informed me it can't be changed. Magnifier it is. I just wish it had finer magnification steps.
I think that is something all Window programmers struggles with. Microsoft too as it seems they tweaking various font options from time to time.

What about the text size?

While the text size setting works on headers and such, it doesn't have any effect on the data shown within the rows and columns (frequencies, etc.) I tried using the 640x480 setting under compatibility, and it worked like a sledge hammer. The magnifier will have to do.

You're' right. This option changes the whole screen.

I've reached a happy compromise. By changing the display resolution (under system - display) I can get a good magnification for the whole screen. I have to change it back when I'm done, but since I only update a few times a year it's an ok solution for me.
