I noticed when programming my Radio Shack Pro-106, that the ARC 500 was setting the bandplan to Canada, is there a way to change this in the software, or is this something I have to keep changing in my scanner? Thanks.

I just checked all over Win500 and the Pro-106 and PRS-500 manuals and I don't see anything about a bandplan.

When you log into RR through ARC500, the second line of the box that opens for frequency imports has a selection for countries. Make sure
it says USA.

Ah, when you're importing yes....Jaspence is correct. Ensure you're manually selecting United States, even if it's highlighted when you bring up the import window.

You could do a reset, as described on Page 86 of the manual. Do the one that resets only the scanner settings and does not clear your data. The last resort would be a full reset, but that is going to clear everything. If this scanner was originally sold in Canada, it may be the default setting, in which case the reset will not change the country setting.
