ARC-Sport RadioRefDisconnected Error

Greeting & Salutations from yet another Newbie....

I recently purchase my Uniden SC230 scanner along with the full version of ARC-Sport software.

Each time I try to use the software to connect to Internet>Radio Reference> Conventional Systems and put my proper user name/ password combo and click on Connect, I receive the RadioRefDisconnected Error.

I've allowed an exemption in my firewall for the ARC-Sport Program, and even turned the whole firewall off, but I have had no luck.

My version of the ARC-Sport for Uniden SC230XLT is 1.1 according to the "About" tab on the program itself.

That version will not connect to RR anymore because RadioReference changed the webservice last year.
Download and install the latest V2.0.

Will the license Key work on the previous version or do I have to purchase a whole new version, less than 30 days after purchasing the "outdated" version??
