ARC XT Pro and No UID's

I've had my 396xt running for quite awhile and finally getting around to using the logging software [ARC XT-Pro] for unattended monitoring [mainly P25 UID's]

The Radio it self shows the UID's [Non Enc] fine, when programmed as Single Freq Trunk, however the Software is only logging the Frequency as in use, but No UID's.

Thoughts/Comments/suggestions.

FYI - UID's and TG ID's do show up for the Trunked systems.

Did you tag the UIDs?
Tagged UIDs cannot be logged unless you start the tag with 'UID:'.

If they are not known, how do you tag them?

PS - these are P25 Radio/Conventional not Trunk, however using the Single Freq Trunk method.

I want to let the software sit and capture the UID's on a single freq for a 24 hr period.

If the UID is shown on the display and starting with UID: it should be logged in the grid.
Also make sure you selected the correct display mode, not all mode show UIDs.

Display mode? Well which one ? is best for SINGLE CHANNEL trunking aka the ability to watch UID's on a P25 Freq

The UiD's show on the Radio, but not in the Software.

A little more experimentation shows that you CAN NOT manually go to a channel to be logged. You need to quickly capture it [hit hold, during the transmission] for the software to log a UID.

If the UID is shown on the display and starting with UID: it should be logged in the grid.
Also make sure you selected the correct display mode, not all mode show UIDs.
