A friend of mine has a 396xt and has downloaded and paid for ARC-XT Pro. When he goes to download from the Radio Reference database he ends up with a "system" but no groups and no frequencies... even when he selects 47! I have a 396T and use Arc396 with is very similar and have tried to fix this on his system with no avail. Here's what I have tried:
Switching RR login to my login to see if it was a RR account problem.
Disabling windows firewall... and enabling port 80 just for giggles.
playing around with all the "settings" in Arc-XT.
Nothing works. Initially when he got the software it wouldn't recognize his scanner (even with the usb-1 cable) but we resolved that...
Is this software buggy or are we both missing something obvious?
