We have all BCD396XTs here at work, but now they've been replaced with the BCD352P2. I use the Butel ARC-XT software to program the 396s, and we're looking to buy 3 new 352s. Will the existing ARC-XT software program the 352? Hoping to just be able to transfer over what we already have (Our typical scanner has 3,500 channels each)

I believe you mean 325p2. I think I read of an update for that. If not, I can confirm the free Freescan application will read your 396xt's or 996xt's and then write to the 325p2, or the 996p2 (upgrade of the 996xt)

Yes. I use ARC-XT PRO to regularly move all my conv and trunk systems between 396Xt, 325P2, 996XT, AND 996P2. Relatively easy and fast.

Excellent. I basically have a master template that I use to reconfigure each scanner for each person using them. I'd hate to start from scratch.

Most of our news vans have over 3,000 channels, to start at 0, I'd quit. ;-P
