Hey guys;

I'm having an ongoing issue with ARC250 and programming a 796 scanner. It's more of an annoyance, but there must be a way to fix it.

When I program up a trunking system (only happens on VHF and UHF systems), everything gets sent to the scanner, however I have to go back and manually set the base/step/offset settings.

Has anyone else had such an issue?

Here's a screen-capture of the page with the trunk system settings - I don't think I'm screwing anything up.

I'm using the same program, never had the same problem. But I updated the id's one day whitout saving the data, and lost the new ids.. I had to re-enter everyone the next day.

I did save everything after that, and all was ok when opening the program.

Yup, common problem with the software interfacing with the scanner, does it every single time for me, i just know to manual program the trunk settings in everytime i update the scanner, actually does it for both my 250D and 796D, annoyance yes, big deal the first time yes, because the first time it took me like 3 days to figure out what was going on, now, not so big of a deal now

Ya, i had that also, messed up the offsets & such from time to time

Had to manually enter it properly.

Just send the trunk settings separately after you have programmed everything else.

Should work fine.

IIRC, it's an issue with sending the trunk id's after sending the bank settings.

Hey, it works great...thanks Mike!

I usually select all banks and select all data, and upload. I did that this time, but when it was finished I went back and uploaded just trunk bank settings and it works just fine.
