When setting up Apco 25 systems on Arc, I noticed some of the file folders have a blue M and some have a red M. Why is this? I compared settings between the two, and with exception of frequencies, talk groups and names, all fields are pretty much the same. So what's the Blue and what's the Red M for on the file folders?

The folder indicates the system type. You asked about the blue and red Ms. A red M is a "Motorola APCO25" system and the blue M indicates a "Motorola Type 2 800 MHz" system. A convetional system looks like a normal folder. I haven't found a key to all of the system types but a couple of them are shown in the ARC396 manual and you can always create an new system and then change the type of system around and observe the changing icon.
