When i try to edit the t-tables for a p25 trunking system in arc500, it will not let me type or paste in the correct frequency. Instead it puts in another frequency when you press enter.

Im trying to put the default t-table in for P25auto or P25manual. I know it is supposed to automatically program the t-tables in in automode but ive had problems with it not. Either one does the same. Even does it with a MOT 800/900 system. Under the base frequency column I am trying to put in line0 851.00625 and then it rounds it off to 851.000000 when i press enter. In line1 I am trying to put 762.00625 then it makes it 521.00000 when I press enter. The same thing happens when i paste the frequency in. Even when I have it set to custom. It simply will not let me put in the right frequency. This has to be a bug in the program.

Does anyone elses ARC500 do this?
Does Win500 or any other scanner programming software have this same problem?

See for yourself. Take a blank arc500 file and try to get those frequencies to stay in the base column under edit t-tables and let me know who can and what software you are using. I would like to see if any other scanner programming software does that or not.

Yup, 512.00000 is true for 762.06250. It'll receive from scanner correctly. Another reason to use Win500.

Edited to add this picture is from ARC500

Click View, Standard, then check the frequencies, the 5 is added, I then clicked View, Expert and checked the freqs and the 5 is there, haven't tryed to load and download them from scanner to see if it works, yet.

I got your question all screwed up, I see what you are saying now, I copied the 762.00625 and pasted it in ARC500 and hit enter and it came back 512.000000.

Yes its in the edit t-tables section of the trunking system objects in arc500. Dont know where it is in other software but im sure its there. Not the system frequencies but the t-tables (trunkings tables) in the base or base frequency column.

How could butel miss something as simple as that?
They want how much to buy this program?
Wonder what other kind of problems it has? Im sure it was at least part of the problem with my PFPS system programming.

I think i might download Win500 and check that out.

Gents could the fact that the 2 frequencies you are working with are not even in the frequency range of the radio be causing the problem?

We are working with base freq of Trunking Tables Brian. Those are actual freq ranges for controls and voice.

Yes thats correct. We are working on base frequency of the t-tables and those are default values for a P25 700mhz t-table.
But yes you are right the frequency coverage of the scanner does not cover 762.00625.
