I have a ws1040 and have programmed it with arc500. It works great but i was wondering if there is any settings that i can change around to get more use or performance for my scanner. I have changed the rssi settings but didnt know if theres others to change.

While there's likely a few settings you can tweak, the best way to get more performance on a scanner is to improve the antenna (and coax). Can you put something outside? That's always best....Mike

Marshall County uses conventional frequencies. The 150 and 450 MHz frequencies should all be changed to NFM. Only low VHF frequencies (30-50 MHz) should remain FM. See if that improves your reception. I use ARC500 also. If you attach your programming file, I will check it for any problems.
