Hi all I have tried to get the virtual control working with no luck. I have read a lot of post but they all are old, I was wondering if anyone had any luck getting the virtual control to work? Thanks for info

Can you upload to and download from the scanner? I assume you mean Whistler WS1065.

yes & yes like everyone said you can control the radio but nothing on the screen

I believe this is your answer:

I think you set VC backcolor to black.
Start ARC500, click Global Settings then Software tab. Now double click VC Backcolor box to change color.

What color is your blank screen? What color is the VC Backcolor box when you click on the Software tab?
