ARC536: Mixing Conventional Analog and P25 In A Department

Hi. Relatively new ARC536 user.

My local PD uses both conventional analog and P25 TGs. Is there a way to mix both in a single department or do I need two departments in that system...one conventional and a P25?

You can mix analog and P25 conventional frequencies (channels) in a single department. Conventional frequencies and talkgroups in a trunked system, such as STARCOM21, must be setup as separate systems. You cannot mix conventional frequencies and talkgroups in the same system. You have conventional systems (frequencies or channels) and trunked systems (talkgroups).
