Hello all,

I've recently updated my computer to Windows 11. I also just updated to ARC536 to the latest version. With my SDS100 powered on I've plugged it into several USB ports. I've also pressed "E" to put it into MASS STORAGE mode. When I try to read the data in the ARC536 software it says it is unable to detect the scanner. The Sentinel software works fine, no issues. I've uninstalled the SDS100 in the device manager, rebooted and it reinstalled the driver. Still having the same issue. Tried other USB mini cables and no love. Any ideas? I've searched the forms and tried ideas from other threads but no luck so I'm starting a new post.

I am having the same issue with ARC536 BASIC. I upgraded to the latest version(2.4 Build 1) and now it won't detect my SDS100. Same issue as OP, Sentinel works fine. Maybe missing a driver? I don't recall having to install one before.

Right click on the Windows logo (Start Menu,) choose "Disk Management," right click on the SDS100 drive and change it to a letter that is "E" or higher in the alphabet, then try detecting the device in ARC536

Installing or running as administrator often will solve the problem of programs not running correctly.
This is a known glitch where the device will show up as drive "D" in the computer, but the software doesn't look for anything below "E" when using the "Detect Scanner" function.

I had tried running as admin but that didn't work.

Changing the drive letter to E: (something other than D:) DID work. Thanks Citywide173 that worked!!!

ARC36 2.4 build 1 did not support drive D:. I have now uploaded build 2 and support for the D: drive is now an option.

Gommert: thanks for the new build. Is it possible to fix (enable) the Scanner>Read>Sel.All feature please? I believe it's been non-functional for several builds now. TIA
