I wanted to edit a system two different ways, changing the system name on the second listing in the ARC software. Instead of downloading the same system from RR again, I tried using the "Copy" feature of the ARC software. Big mistake. Even though I highlighted the system I wanted to copy, the ARC software copied every system I had in my substantial profile. Not finding a method within the ARC software whereby I could indicate I only wanted to copy one system, I inquired of Butel how this is done. I was told to consult the help groups on RR Forums or RR Wiki. If anyone knows if what I want is possible please let me know. At this point I have relented to simply not saving the profile with all systems copied, and reloading my origional profile, getting me back to my starting point, and then downloading a second copy of that same system, editing it to my liking afterwards. My observations concerning ARC Software is that it's buggy, always has been throughout its different versions for different scanners. But I like it. Sentinel software I find is not buggy but lacks some of the ARC features. So I do what I can with Sentinel, download the radio into ARC and further edit to my liking.
