ARC-XT Pro 2.1 build 4 Full Version Uniden BCD996P2 new firmware
I did a search and save on the 996, downloaded freqs. into ARC, renamed and assigned a QuickKey 6 to the system, uploaded the system to the 996. Scanner says "nothing to scan" when using QK6. Here's a screenshot of the group. What am I doing wrong? These are aircraft freqs. so I used Conventional as type. Is that the problem? All other functions of the scanner and ARC are working flawlessly.

Thanks,
Dave

put the channels under the air custom QK6 and delete the found channels QK1 from the air channels system, it should work then. Also delete the information in the lock out coloumn, you dont need it.

Cup and paste will work to move the channel information., then it shoiuld work.

Conventional it is.

Thanks.
Like this? Maybe I misunderstood. That didn't work, scanner saw nothing on QK6. I first tried to set it up like the "Businesses" system below the Air Custom, where Businesses is Q3 and goups below it are Q1.

Well . . . this worked. But it's weird. There's no QK on "Found Channels", but weirder, when I delete "Group 1" above it, the list of Found Channels becomes empty and shows like the presently empty Group 1 shows.

I had created the "Group 1" during the process of Search and Store setup.
Does a system require more than one group?

Anywho . . . it works. . . and I need an adult beverage!

Thanks for your help.
Has anyone else had this weird "Group" behavior?

Dave

Thanks a million. Yes, that was the problem.
I saw that icon and didn't know what it was. Very observant of you sir.
