I have all of the files to use for the 996T mobile and now own a 396T HH scanner, will the 396T program with the 996T mobile files?
Thank you
Kenny

For UASD, yes with some caveats:

Obviously feature settings that are for features not in the 396 will be ignored.
For example, only the first site of a multi-site trunked system will be used.

I'd copy them to the 396 folder, then modify as needed from there (so that you don't accidentally write using the 396 version which could change or delete some of the 996-exclusive settings).

What happens when a 996 file with multiple sites in a single system gets read into the 396 file format? Does ARC396 automatically create a system file for each site?
