Are Metrorail (DC) VHF Channels still in use?

I know the 700MHZ system is being used by both bus and rail, but is the old VHF system still in use by rail, or has it been abandoned?

The transit antennas on the 7000 series cars are too short for VHF, so I'd say it's been abandoned. It's in my scan list, but I've never seen a hit.
