Well it looks like our time has finally come. Last time we had a hurricane hit us was Georges. Now we have this catagory 5 Ivan barreling down on us here on the coast.

I still maintain my ONLINE LIVE POLICE scanner for the Ms gulf coast. Provided we don't lose A/C power here, and our T circuits remain up we should be fine.

You can listen in 24 hours a day at http://www.nexusradio.us/

Primary agencies are in Jackson County, which will get a serious amount of this storm, seeing how the track is bringing it straight up Mobile ALA and Jackson County border's the ms-al state line. So you can expect to hear a lot of civil defense traffic.

I personally will be driving up north for the storm.

He has a great setup, but I think his server went down sometime today around 4pm. Maybe it will come back up soon. It was starting to get interesting. You should see the people down there working on the casinos. They were to big to go under the bridge to go into bay so they are having to fill the bottom of the boat up with water to make them heavy hopefully helping them withstand the wind and water.... Going to be interesting to see if it works....
