I'm further south in Payson, but I had forgotten APS has switched to Phase II. Our household needs a Phase II scanner as in smaller cities such as Payson/rural areas being able to listen and understand electrical utility companies is useful. Those places get more frequent power outages. In the database I see the term DOC used. Does anyone know if that means "Distribution Operations Center" as it does in many other parts of the country??

EDIT, the FCC license specifically states the location as Mormon Mountain.

Talkgroup 1102 on the APS system should be the second Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (AZ DEMA) channel, if people could listen and confirm so it can be submitted.

I heard it one day last week, with "Gecko" talking to another station.

@KB7MIB John, was that on White Tanks or another site that your heard TG 1102? Do you happen to know if all sites carry all traffic?
I see 100x TGs pop up and 1005 active sometimes but it's encrypted.

It could have been White Tanks, Thompson Peak, or Corporate HQ (Downtown Phoenix). I monitor all 3.
I don't know if it was carried statewide.
I've only heard TG 1102 once so far.

I've been locking out several 65000-range talkgroups that are probably APS linemen by the conservations they have.
